Welcome to the Freedom Zone, aka, the Fun Zone! Putting the FUN in FUNCTIONAL!

While having the ability to train in an area the size of a phone box is fantastic, having the freedom to spread your wings is just as important.

In the Freedom Zone you’ll find all sorts of fun kit to swing, lift, throw and catch. It’s a place to take that strength you’ve been working on in the weights section and combine it into some fun calorie burning, ab shredding sessions.

By using all the different pieces of equipment available you can’t help but hit a highly effective full body routine that will test not just your strength but your fitness too.

Let’s take a look at some of the kit and the benefits they bring…

KETTLEBELLS

These evil little cannon balls with suitcase-like handles are used by the Russian Special Forces. They’ll send your strength through the roof and blow torch body fat like nothing else! Oh, they’ll give you glutes of steel too.

KEY EXERCISES
The Swing, Snatch and Turkish Get Up

TRX

This handy little suspension trainer was developed by a former Navy Seal and is a lot harder than it looks. The amount of muscles used to stabilise yourself in each exercise is ridiculous and will really work your core.

You can instantly change the intensity by simply moving your feet closer or further away from the anchor point, which means it’s great for all abilities.

Single Leg Squats, Atomic Push-Ups and Pikes

BULGARIAN BAGS

Favoured by Eastern European wrestlers, these horseshoe shaped bags are great for rotational strength and developing gold medal endurance.

Around the World, Shouldering and Off Loaded Lunges

MEDICINE BALLS

A great tool for taking the strength you already have and developing it into explosive power.

Rotational Throws, Slams and ab work.
